My Goal

Every story has two versions. The story in the author's head, and the story on the page. It is an exhausting process to have such excitement for a story, only for the writing to fall flat. Why does this section feel slow? Why does this dialogue feel forced? Why is this great moment not resonating? It can feel like trying to decipher a foreign language.

I know that feeling well. That's why my first objective is simple: to give you the language to understand your story. Together, we can understand the storytelling science of your story. How you can use conflict to fix the pacing. How you can use subtext in dialogue to increase authenticity. How you can use POV to make emotions truly pop.

I want to give you the principles to help you close the gap between what's on the page and what's in your head. A skillset, that once you have it, you don't lose.

  • Opening Pages Deep-Dive - 100$

    A craft level analysis of your first 10,000 to 12,000 words. I'll show you what's working and what's not. I give specific techniques you can apply to the rest of you manuscript. Same depth as the free critique, just more runway.

  • Extended Craft Analysis - 250$

    A comprehensive examination of your first 15,000 to 20,000 words. We'll explore structure, pacing, character arcs, dialogue, POV, tone, and theme. We'll see how each element is functioning, and how to make them work together. You'll walk away with a clear understanding of your story's architecture and principles you can carry into revision.

  • Free Chapter Critique - 0$
